Starting this year, the Express Entry system is evolving, prioritizing specific trades and profiles through selections based on sets or categories. These selections are designed to meet the current needs of the Canadian job market. Let's find out which occupations and profiles will be prioritized in 2023.

French language skills

To be eligible for this package, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Obtain a minimum score of 7 on the French test (TEF Canada or TCF Canada) for the 4 language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking) of the Canadian Language Benchmarks;
  • Meet all the requirements set out in the instructions for an invitation round for this package.

Health professions

Eligibility

To be eligible for this package, you must meet the following conditions:

  • have accumulated, over the past 3 years, at least 6 months of continuous full-time work experience (or equivalent part-time experience) in one of the occupations listed in the table below, in Canada or abroad;
  • meet all the requirements set out in the instructions for a round of invitations.
