This week's first draw, the 269th, focused on the Provincial Nominee Program. A total of 1548 invitations were issued. With a fairly high minimum score set at 776, the competition was clearly tough.
Please note: in the event of a tie, the tie-breaking rule applies. For this draw, profiles submitted up to July 7, 2023 at 07:28:57 UTC were given priority.
Drawing #270 : Focus on French language skills

Number of invitations: 300
Minimum score for invitation: 486
The 270th draw opened doors for applicants with French language skills. It specifically concerned those eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. 300 invitations were issued, with a minimum score of 486. Candidates who submitted their Express Entry profile by September 30, 2023 at 04:22:17 AM UTC were given preference in the event of a tie.
Drawing #271 : Health Professions in the Spotlight
Date: October 26, 2023
Number of invitations: 3600
Minimum score for invitation: 431
This week's final draw was the largest yet, with 3,600 invitations issued to the healthcare professions. Eligible candidates included: Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Provincial Nominee Program. With a minimum score of 431, many healthcare professionals saw their Canadian dream come one step closer. The tie-breaking rule applied to profiles submitted up to May 24, 2023 at 19:47:51 UTC.
