Manitoba held its Expression of Interest (EOI) #239 draw, offering an opportunity for skilled workers and international students to settle in the province. A total of 41 invitations were sent to candidates meeting the eligibility criteria.
19 Invitations to the International Education Stream
Manitoba invited 19 candidates in the International Education Stream category. Only profiles declaring a master's degree or higher and having a close relative who has lived in Manitoba for at least one year were considered. These candidates must provide proof of their degree and of their relationship with their Manitoba support person (brother or sister, niece or nephew, uncle or aunt, first cousin, mother or father, grandmother or grandfather).
Skilled workers abroad: 22 invitations
Under the Skilled Worker Overseas component, 22 invitations were issued to candidates directly contacted as part of a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) strategic recruitment initiative. The score of the lowest-ranked candidate was 711. Of these invitations, 7 were sent to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile.
Next steps for guests
Selected candidates must prepare their application by providing the required documents before the deadline indicated in their Letter of Advice to Apply. It is crucial to check the validity of language tests and invitation numbers to avoid rejection.
