On October 23, 2024, a new round of the Express Entry system was triggered, specifically targeting trades workers. A total of 1,800 invitations to apply for permanent residency were sent out. For this session, the minimum score for invited candidates was 433. A tie-breaking rule was applied, dated March 12, 2024, guaranteeing a fair process for candidates with identical scores.
Express Entry Opportunities and Procedures
The draw is open to participants in the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Selected candidates are invited to apply for permanent residency.
