To be eligible for this component, you must be admitted to a designated educational institution in Canada, have sufficient funds to pay tuition fees, other expenses during your stay and the cost of returning to your country of origin, demonstrate your intention to leave Canada at the end of your studies, have a valid passport, provide a police certificate and pass a medical examination.

Volet direct for studies

This component provides accelerated processing of study permit applications for people wishing to pursue their post-secondary studies in Canada at a Designated Educational Institution and who are from the following countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Senegal, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam. To be eligible, the following documents must be provided: valid results of a language skills assessment, proof of a guaranteed placement certificate of 100,000 $CAD, full payment of tuition for the first year of study, letter of acceptance from a designated educational institution, most recent transcripts for secondary or post-secondary studies, proof of medical examination.
